Afrikaner refugees
JOHANNESBURG - Forty-nine Afrikaners are en route to the US after taking up US President, Donald Trump's, offer to move over as refugees.
Their chartered plane has left OR Tambo international Airport and the group is expected to arrive in the US today (Monday).
Washington officials will receive them when they touch down.
The move follows Trump's criticism of the Expropriation Act, claiming land was being confiscated and Afrikaners were being treated badly.
