MTHATHA - Police are ruling out robbery as the motive for the murder of a Walter Sisulu University Deputy Vice-Chancellor.
National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola was speaking during a visit to Mthatha.
He says a team has been set up to investigate the motive.
The institution has been rocked by several shootings recently, with a protesting student shot dead in April.
