JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the nation tonight at 8pm.
The address follows the Constitutional Court judgment in the case brought by the Economic Freedom Fighters challenging the National Assembly’s decision with respect to Section 89 proceedings against the president.

The judgment has effectively revived impeachment proceedings against Ramaphosa.
The ruling handed down by Chief Justice Mandisa Maya on Friday found that parliament's vote on Phala Phala was invalid and unconstitutional.
The court has referred the matter to the impeachment committee.
