JOHANNESBURG - Areas in and around Johannesburg will experience low pressure or no water from Tuesday until Friday.
Rand Water began repairing its leaking O2 pipeline at 5am.
Pumping will be reduced for the duration of the maintenance.
This will affect the Palmiet System, which will then impact Johannesburg Water's Sandton systems.
Rand Water's Makenosi Maroo said leaking pipes are being replaced.
"We're going to finish on Mandela Day. We're also cleaning the Hartbeespoort Reservoir. The 18th is the last day for maintenance," she said.
