JOHANNESBURG - An amount of R400,000 has been put on the table for anyone who has information in the case involving the deaths of eight women whose bodies were discovered in Ekurhuleni.
This is just one of other measures in place as investigations into the matter continue.
Other measures include the establishment of a high-level multidisciplinary team has been set up to lead the investigation.
Additionally, there will be an increased presence of police through Operation Shanela in Kempton Park and the surrounding areas.

This was confirmed during a media briefing on Tuesday night following a meeting between top police and government leaders
The high-level delegation included Acting Police Minister Feroz Cachalia, Women Minister Sindisiwe Chikunga, Deputy Police Minister Polly Boshielo, Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi and Acting National Police Commissioner Puleng Dimpane.
Cachalia said that in the coming weeks, the police will lock Kempton Park.
“The community will see the presence of the South African Police Service, and we will mobilise all necessary law enforcement capabilities, working with our communities," he said.
