CAPE TOWN - The National Assembly has agreed to establish an Ad Hoc Committee to investigate claims of corruption and collusion between criminals and law enforcement agencies.
MPs adopted a report from the Police and Justice Portfolio Committees.
No political party rejected the motion.

KwaZulu-Natal police boss Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi claimed police top brass are in cahoots with criminal syndicates.
The DA says the committee should probe the alleged unlawful disbanding of the political killings task team, political interference in police operations and improper relations between government officials and private individuals.
