Scholar transport | KZN vows to take unroadworthy vehicles off the road

PIETERMARITZBURG - The KwaZulu-Natal Transport Department will begin an audit of private scholar transport next month, starting in Pietermaritzburg.

This is in response to a spate of deadly accidents involving scholar transport.

Earlier this month, five pupils were killed when the taxi they were travelling in crashed into a creche in Imbali township, Pietermaritzburg.
