SETA crisis | OUTA wants accountability over appointments

JOHANNESBURG - The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA) is of the view that the Department of Higher Education has become a hub of corrupt activity.

They cite the appointment of three politically-linked individuals as administrators at SETA as a recent example of cadre deployment.

"This higher education department has become a cesspool of corruption as far as we're concerned," said OUTA's Wayne Duvenage.

He said strong oversight is needed.

"There’s a big clean-up required."
