The accused face a string of charges including conspiracy to commit murder, two counts of murder, attempted murder and firearms and ammunition offences.
Their appearance before court on Monday was delayed.
The trial was due to begin at 9am; however, two of the accused had not arrived in court by the time proceedings were due to begin.

Accused numbers six and seven were still being transported from Westville Prison.
There were also problems with the lifts in the court building, where the matter is being heard in a regional courtroom on the 12th floor.
Speaking to eNCA, AKA's mother, Lynn Forbes, said she had no expectations that things would run smoothly.
Even so, she expressed appreciation to the legal team and police handling the case.
"I understand that, you know, the legal process takes its own time and the delays happen. So, for me, I came for one, two reasons only, and that was to be here for Tibz and for Kiernan, to be here with, you know, for both sides," she said.
The trial is expected to continue on Tuesday.
