Last Friday, President Cyril Ramaphosa confirmed that the group, including children and a heavily pregnant woman, was allowed in on humanitarian grounds.

Since then, however, it remains unclear where they are being housed and who is caring for them.
Several political parties, including Al Jama-ah, ACDP and IFP, have accused the government of violating the country's laws by giving the group preferential treatment.
Despite these claims, there's still no word from the President.
