JOHANNESBURG - One person has been arrested in connection with the Saulsville mass tavern shooting.
Multiple gunmen opened fire inside the tavern on 6 December.
The massacre left over a dozen dead and 13 wounded.
Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said three persons of interest were identified after the shooting.

"We can confirm that the suspect arrested is one of those who was identified as a person of interest," she said.
Mathe said the suspect was travelling from Gauteng to Limpopo when he was intercepted.
"They found him to be in possession of an unlicensed firearm and around 12 rounds of ammunition.
"We can confirm that he has appeared before the Polokwane magistrate's court," she said.
