CAPE TOWN - Western Cape police are investigating a triple murder and triple attempted murder,
following a shooting in Lingelethu West in Khayelitsha.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area's SD Section, where they found the bodies of three men with multiple gunshot wounds.

One victim was found outside a house, while two others were discovered inside.
Three other victims survived the attack and were taken to hospital for treatment.
The motive for the shooting is still unknown, but police suspect extortion.
