The decision was taken at a special ANC Women's League NEC meeting this past weekend.
It follows the ANC's integrity commission's findings.

The ANCWL says its Secretary-General, Nokuthula Nqaba, will assume the functions of president until the disciplinary process is concluded.
Tolashe is accused of appropriating two luxury vehicles donated to the Women's League.
President Cyril Ramaphosa also removed her as Social Development Minister.
