JOHANNESBURG - Power has been fully restored to Johannesburg and Parktown.
This after an underground fire in the cable tunnels at Fordsburg Substation on Sunday.
Several interconnected substations across areas supplied through the Reuven, Lenasia, and Hursthill Service Delivery Centres were affected.

The outage also affected Rand Water's Eikenhof pump station, leaving communities worried about their water supply.
