CAPE TOWN - The assault case against eight Milnerton High School pupils, aged between 17 and 18, has been postponed to 30 October.
The case was heard on Thursday. The boys are facing charges of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Six of the pupils appeared in an open court while two others appeared in juvenile court.
This comes after a disturbing video surfaced showing a 16-year-old pupil being assaulted at the school.
The viral footage has sparked outrage and calls for accountability.
The Basic Education Committee will visit the school.
