UPDATE: Senona testimony postponed to June

PRETORIA – Embattled KZN Hawks head Leseja Senona has requested a postponement of his testimony before the Madlanga Commission.

The top cop was expected to give testimony on Friday, 8 May. His testimony has now been moved to 1 June. 

He told the Commission he required more time to get the required information.

The top cop’s legal team also raised concerns over procedural flaws by the Commission. 

On Tuesday, Hawks member Hendrik Flynn, who is before the Commission implicated Senona in the events leading to the theft of 541kg worth of drugs from the DPCI offices in Port Shepstone.

Senona allegedly broke protocol regarding the storage.
