A police investigation has been launched after a man was killed in an incident involving an eThekwini Municipality water tanker.
A 39-year-old man was attempting to cross the road in uMbumbulu.
He was knocked over by the tanker, causing fatal injuries.
Witnesses say the tanker continued moving and did not stop immediately after the incident.

Authorities have launched both a criminal investigation and an internal municipal probe into the incident.
Officials have also been deployed to support the victim's family.
