In Tuesday’s MarkData survey, conducted on the eve of the elections, we look at the north-western part of the metro, where voting patterns in some wards could point to possible changes.
Ward 24 in Winterveld, traditionally an ANC stronghold, is one area to watch.
The ANC secured 74% of the vote in the ward in the 2021 local government elections. However, voter turnout was just 37%.
