CAPE TOWN - Ad Hoc Committee MPs butted heads over whether or not President Cyril Ramaphosa should provide the inquiry with written responses to its questions.
Committee members continued with deliberations on their draft preliminary report.

Ramaphosa in March this year provided written responses to the Committee's questions probing claims of corruption and political interference in the SAPS and judiciary.
But the MK Party insists the president should have appeared in person.
Meanwhile, National Assembly Speaker Thoko Didiza has granted the Committee another extension.
It is now expected to finalise the report by 30 October.
