CAPE TOWN - Over 80 percent of infrastructure projects are of poor quality, delayed and exceed budgets.
That's according to Auditor-General Tsakani Maluleke.
She was briefing Parliament on audit outcomes of national and provincial governments.
Although the overall outcomes show improvement, Maluleke flagged some weaknesses.
"We found that, all too often, infrastructure delivery projects have been delayed, are costing more than planned or are of poor quality."
