School racism | Calls for pupils to be suspended over 'slave auction'

CAPE TOWN - Racist bullying has reared its ugly head at a Cape Town school, with black pupils cast in the role of slaves, while their coloured classmates joked about their selling prices.

The prices start at R100,000 and gradually increase.

The Western Cape Education Department has called the incident hurtful and disturbing.

And some parents at Pinelands High are calling for the perpetrators  to be suspended immediately.
