POLOKWANE - ANC Limpopo Chairperson, Stanley Mathabatha's resignation has left the party in disarray.
Calls are now mounting for an early provincial conference.
Mathabatha sent a letter indicating he was stepping aside from his duties last week Tuesday, 02 September.
The ANC Limpopo branched referred the letter to the ANC's national officials for guidance.
Luthuli House rejected Mathabatha's resignation on the Thursday of the same week, and referred the dispute back to the provincial committee.
eNCA reporter, Moloko Moloto discussed this with political analyst Elvis Masoga who said this is a sign of antagonism between factions within the party.
