Boksburg blast | President Ramaphosa sends condolences to victims' families
JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa has expressed concern as the number of fatalities in the Boksburg explosion continues to rise.
Eighteen people have lost their lives since the explosion near the OR Tambo Memorial Hospital on Saturday.
In a statement, the president sent his condolences to the families of the deceased, saying the nation’s hearts go out to everyone affected.
He also wishes those injured a speedy recovery.
Police have arrested a 32-year-old tanker driver who's expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
