Businessman’s tax-evasion case postponed

A Limpopo businessman appeared in the Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crime Court on Thursday for fraud and corruption.

PRETORIA - A Limpopo businessman appeared in the Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crime court on Thursday for fraud and corruption.

The matter against Maphoko Kgomoeswana was postponed until 31 October.

He stands accused of tax evasion in his personal and representative capacity for his company, Babinatlou Business Services.

The alleged fraud was discovered during an investigation of the controversial R745-million Eskom Kusile Power Station corruption case.
