Cape Town's ganglands | Denials and evasion in Kilian testimony

CAPE TOWN - Day seven in the witness box for Zane Kilian, the man accused locating detective Charl Kinnear via phone pinging prior to his murder.

This was allegedly on the instructions of gang boss Nafiz Modack.

Kinnear was shot dead outside his house in September 2020.

He was investigating Modack at the time, as well as fellow police officers in connection with the issuing of fraudulent gun licenses.

Modack is denying giving Kilian a blank cheque to ping Kinnear.

His cross examination continues on Monday.
