Correctional Services mum about Walus release

JOHANNESBURG - Correctional Services refuses to be drawn into when exactly Chris Hani’s killer, Janusz Walus will be released.

The expectation is that Walus, who is currently receiving medical treatment after being stabbed in prison, would be freed on Thursday.

However, the department's spokesperson says the ball is now in Minister Ronald Lamola’s court, to decide on the way forward.
