Crime in SA | Ackerman's victims will get closure - NPA

JOHANNESBURG - National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane says all of the complainants will be able to get closure after the judgment that was handed down to Gerhard Ackerman on Monday.

Ackerman has been found guilty on several counts of rape, possession of child pornography, human trafficking and sexual assault.

Mjonondwane says Ackerman's sentencing will commence at his next appearance whether his team is ready or not.
