Criminals targeting cyclists in Gauteng

JOHANNESBURG - There’s been a surge in violent attacks on cyclists in Gauteng.

Pedal Power says some of the attacks have been fatal.

Cyclists are being robbed of their bikes and belongings.

Pedal Power is appealing to the police for help.

"South Africa is a very dangerous place sometimes if you're in a wrong place, wrong time," said Neil Robinson.

"The percentages are going up every day, it is very worrying because we are trying to get more cyclists on the road from a commuter point of view."
