JOHANNESBURG - The DA is denying any knowledge of Lungile Phenyane having a criminal record.
She was in the running to become the new leader and Federal Council Chairperson, but has since dropped out.
DA Presiding Officer Mimmy Gondwe says there is a possible matter with Phenyane's employer.
But until they receive confirmation of any wrongdoing, she remains in the running for other positions.
