JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance says it will be laying criminal charges against Minister Nobuhle Nkabane for lying to parliament.
The charge-laying will be led by the DA Federal Council Chairperson, Helen Zille, on Tuesday morning at the Cape Town Central Police Station.
The party accuses Nkabane of gross misconduct and misleading Parliament.
The DA says this particular scandal has been brewing long before Andrew Whitfield was sacked by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
