Dam wall collapse | Jagersfontein residents left in the lurch

Residents are reportedly complaining of coughing, asthma, headaches, nosebleeds and nightmares.

JOHANNESBURG - It’s been seven months since the Jagersfontein dam wall collapse, and residents have been left on their own.

A mine dam burst its walls in September, killing at least three people and sweeping away houses and cars.

Families have filed a lawsuit to sue the owners of the Free State diamond mine but according to reports, only two houses have been built, and people are unemployed and starving.
