JOHANNESBURG - New information has emerged about the application of Crime Intelligence Technical Support Services head Dineo Mokwele.
Sources told eNCA that Mokwele submitted her application on the official closing date and photographed the submission as proof because no official was available to acknowledge receipt.

During his Madlanga Commission testimony, Advocate Peter Serunye said Mokwele submitted her application late and should have been disqualified, but that account is being disputed.
They say SAPS removed the applications from the submission box the following day and applied a date stamp reflecting the retrieval date rather than the submission date.
The matter remains part of the issues under scrutiny at the Commission.
