Ditsobotla municipal council disbanded

LICHTENBURG - The Ditsobotla Municipality Local Municipality in North West is beyond repair.

That is according to the deputy COGTA minister, Obed Bapela.

It has led to the municipality being disbanded during an executive council meeting on Tuesday.

The municipality is also unable to render services as its finances have been withheld.

It is understood the decision to disband will be appealed.
