Durban flood victims demand housing

DURBAN - A group of residents relocated to Durban flats after floods destroyed their homes are taking to the streets to protest their conditions.

They're demanding the houses they were promised after being placed in the flats as a temporary measure.

They claim they were supposed to be relocated to permanent housing last year, but this didn’t happen and now some of them have received eviction notices.
