Enyobeni tavern owner expected to appear in court

EAST LONDON - Enyobeni tavern owner Siyakhangela Ndevu is in court again on Wednesday morning.

He faces charges of contravening the Liquor Act after teenagers died at his venue in Scenery Park in June.

A toxicology report revealed that the teenagers suffocated to death on 26 June at Enyobeni tavern.

But parents are not satisfied with this explanation.

One of the parents says he is saddened the tavern owners do not seem remorseful.
