Festive season safety | Traffic volumes rise ahead of Christmas

JOHANNESBURG - Traffic volumes are expected to peak on major highways ahead of Christmas.

The N3, N2 and N1 have recorded high volumes this week as people travel to various destinations.

Police and traffic officers are out in full force to crack down on lawlessness.

A number of people have lost their lives on the roads since the start of the festive season.
