WATCH | Transport Minister says road stats 'worrying'

JOHANNESBURG - Transport Minister Sindisiwe Chikunga says they are worried that so many people keep breaking the rules of the road.

Chikunga says the quarterly traffic stats, expected to be released on Friday, paint a worrying picture.

The Road Traffic Management Corporation says thousands have already been arrested in December for drinking and driving.
