JOHANNESBURG - Four uMkhonto weSizwe Party members were sworn in as Members of Parliament on Wednesday.
Their swearing in comes after the resignations of Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla and Former Passenger Rail Agency group CEO Lucky Montana.
Zuma-Sambudla resigned from Parliament following allegations that she recruited 17 men to fight on the frontlines of the Russia-Ukraine war.

Meanwhile Montana announced via social media his resignation.
Early this year, I approached the leadership of MKP that I intend stepping down as Member of the National Assembly at the end of the year. On 30 August 2025 I formally wrote to Dr Hlophe & Chief Whip Colleen Makhubela confirming the same. Today, my resignation takes effect.

In a letter addressed to now-suspended MKP Deputy President, Dr John Hlophe, and the party's Chief Whip Colleen Makhubela, Montana claimed his resignation was due to personal reasons.

Brumelda Zuma replaces her sister, while Bongani Mkhongi, Pumlani Kubukeli and Makhosazana Radebe will join her in the corridors of the National Assembly.
