Gauteng Schools Admissions | Parents to receive SMS confirmations

JOHANNESBURG - Grade 1 and 8 parents in Gauteng will begin receiving SMS confirmations of placements from Monday.

This is according to Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi.

Lesufi outlined the criteria for placing learners.

He says one of the key criteria for placement is the pupil's proximity to a school. 

Lesufi was giving an update on the online admissions process.
