JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Roads and Transport MEC, Kedibone Diale-Tlabela, says tensions between e-hailing drivers and taxi operators in Soweto will be resolved soon.

All those involved, including the Mopanya Mall Centre Management, have pledged to end the violence.

The National Taxi Alliance says it's unreasonable to restrict taxis from operating.

Millions of passengers depend on this mode of transport.

But the Pimville community in Soweto, is taking a tough stance, and wants drivers to be barred from operating within Maponya Mall.
