Imtiaz Sooliman not interested in running for political office
Gift of the Givers Founder, Dr Imtiaz Sooliman says many people have encouraged him to consider politics because of the work his organisation does.
JOHANNESBURG - Gift of the Givers Founder, Dr Imtiaz Sooliman says he has no interest to become the country's president.

Sooliman says many people have encouraged him to consider politics because of the work his organisation does.
He adds he has an excellent working relationship with government, although he criticises the current system.
Sooliman was speaking to JJ Tabane on Power to Truth.
He said, "it's govt that calls us to intervene...disaster management calls us...but again, they've realised that even though people say I must be the president, i've made it clear i'm not interested...they understand there's no competition from a political point of view...we're not threat to them that we're gonna do this to score points...the mechanism is the biggest problem of response in this country...you don't have a clear change of command...everybody is the boss, everybody is got egos and everybody's got a say.")
