Justice for COSAS 4 | Court summons apartheid police officers to stand trial

JOHANNESBURG - Families of the COSAS 4 might finally see justice done.

Forty years later, the High Court in Johannesburg has ruled that two apartheid security branch officers, should stand trial.

Tlhomedi Mfalapitsa and Christiaan Rorich are accused of the 1982 kidnapping, and killing of three student activists, in an explosion that left one injured.

Lawyers for Mfalapitsa and Rorich argue the two should not face trial, because the crime took place more than 20 years ago.
