PRETORIA - Suspended Deputy Crime Intelligence boss Feroz Khan's has dropped his request for a private hearing at the Madlanga Commission.
The commission's panel found Khan's application to testify in camera was too vague.
Khan was meant to appear at the commission, but his lawyers said he was unconscious in hospital after an attempt on his life.

The Commission dealt with Khan's matter as the first item on Wednesday's agenda.
It follows Sunday's shooting that left him in hospital days before his scheduled testimony.
His lawyers had initially stated that the senior officer raised concerns about his safety and asked for permission to testify in camera.
