Late ANC Women's League leader described as a people's servant

JOHANNESBURG - Late ANC Women's League deputy president played a big role in reviving women participation in politics.  

That is how ANC describes and will remember Lungi Mnganga-Gcabashe.

The anti-apartheid stalwart who died at the age of 64, was at the time of her death also serving as the Chairperson of the National Assembly’s Tourism Portfolio Committee.

She was born in KwaMashu and became a member of the United Democratic Front and the Natal Organisation of Women.
