PRETORIA - Fresh questions are swirling around whether EFF leader Julius Malema could be called to testify before the Madlanga Commission.
Evidence leaders unpacked a series of WhatsApp messages they say suggest Malema was used as a conduit between Firoz Khan and former Crime Intelligence official Mohammed Sayed.

The Commission's spokesperson, Jeremy Michaels, says the decision now rests with the Commission's evidence leaders, who are determined to ensure everyone implicated is treated fairly.
"The Commission is seeking to be fair to all those who have been implicated, as we have seen consistently. That is part of why the Commission has been taking strain in terms of its deadline. So let's see what the evidence leaders decide," he said.
