There will be a delay in payment for May as the social security agency updates its records.
Affected beneficiaries are those using alternative forms of identification, other than the government issued 13-digit ID document whose details do not appear on the Sassa database.
Clients are urged to come forward and present themselves for the review process and correct capturing of their information.
Sassa has intensified measures to prevent corruption and misrepresentation of beneficiaries.
