Mbalula: Torching of trucks is economic sabotage

JOHANNESBURG - ANC Secretary-General, Fikile Mbalula says that the torching of over twenty trucks over the past few days is economic sabotage.

Mbalula was speaking during an update on the party's national executive committee meeting.

He has appealed to communities to work with police to end the spate of attacks.

Meanwhile, Mbalula says he is confident that power cuts will become a thing of the past by December this year.

In addition, the ANC is pushing for an outright victory at next year's general elections.

He is firm that the ANC will not be engaging in any coalition talks.
