Nandipha Magudumana continues bid for freedom

BLOEMFONTEIN - Nandipha Magudumana will apply for bail at the Bloemfontein magistrate’s court.

It comes after four months in jail since her arrest and deportation from Tanzania.

Magadumana provisionally abandoned her bail bid in May.

She has also failed to have her arrest and deportation declared unlawful.

Magudumana is among 12 accused of aiding and abetting Thabo Bester to escape from prison.

The celebrity doctor is also alleged to be in a relationship with the convicted serial rapist and murderer.

In a statement last week, she claimed she was being kept in prison illegally.

She claims she has been emotionally and sexually abused by powerful men in government and business.
