JOHANNESBURG - Water expert Professor Anthony Turton says South Africa's failing infrastructure is the cause of the continuing water crisis.
The country is observing National Water Week, under the theme, Accelerating Change.
Despite the recent heavy rains in parts of the country taps have run dry in many areas.
South Africa also ranks as one of the 30th driest countries in the world.
