JOHANNESBURG - The National Consumer Commission has issued a recall of the ESR HaloLock wireless Power Banks Model 2G505B.
According to the commission, the affected products were imported from China and sold through online stores between 2023 and 2024.
The products were sold in black and feature five circular LED display lights.

The supplier has indicated that the power banks present the risk of fire and burns to consumers.
This is because the lithium-ion batteries can overheat during usage.
Consumers are advised to stop using the devices immediately and return them for a refund.
